Our purpose here at CCB is to win people to faith in Jesus Christ and commit them actively to the church. We want to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ so that they can increasingly know and do His will and to work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of building the kingdom of God.

The Burlington Christian Church (now Christian Church of Burlington, or CCB) was organized in June, 1860, by Evangelist G. W. Hutchinson with nine charter members. Membership has fluctuated over the years for various reasons; currently about 170. Many pastors have served over these many years. We strive to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the lost, both locally and abroad, fulfilling the Great Commission; to bring new Christian to maturity so they will remain faithful; and to be a positive and caring influence in the Community of Burlington, Kansas
