Dispatcher

Coffey County Transportation is looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused Part-Time Dispatcher to join our team! This role plays a key part in the daily operation of our transportation system and helps ensure our community receives safe, reliable service.

Position Overview

Dispatchers are responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day transportation activities, including (but not limited to):

• Organizing daily trip schedules

• Assigning and adjusting daily driver routes

• Scheduling routine vehicle maintenance

• Compiling daily reports

• Providing excellent communication and support to riders and drivers

What We’re Looking For

All dispatchers must:

• Have strong phone etiquette and people skills

• Hear clearly and confidently communicate with clients who may be difficult to understand

• Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and strong critical-thinking skills

• Meet all requirements held for CCT drivers

 Position Details

• Status: Part-time

• Location: Coffey County Transportation Office
