Burlington Christmas Parade

Step into the magic of the season at Gingerbread Lane, Burlington’s festive Lighted Christmas Parade celebration! Join us in downtown Burlington, KS on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 for an afternoon and evening packed with family fun, holiday treats, and twinkling lights.

The festivities begin at 3:00 PM with Build-a-LEGO Ornament activities at Hornet Games, continuing throughout the afternoon. At 4:00 PM, head out front of Hornet Games to decorate cookies with Surprise Me Cakery. Coloring pages and crafts will also be available while supplies last. Enjoy the sounds of the season with Christmas music downtown as you stroll and soak in the holiday atmosphere.

Warm up and vote for your favorite chili at the Rotary Chili Cook-Off. Entry opens in the afternoon, and chili tasting, voting, and chili sales begin at 5:00 PM next to Hornet Games. Bowls are $5 each, served until it’s gone. Don’t miss free hot chocolate from the Burlington Lions Club and free-will donation popcorn from the Momco Group.

Gather along the route for the main event. Parade lineup starts at 5:30 PM at 2nd & Neosho, and the Lighted Christmas Parade steps off at 6:00 PM, lighting up downtown Burlington with decorated floats, holiday characters, and plenty of sparkle.

After the parade, keep the celebration going with the Rotary Tree Lighting at Eagle Park (6th & Neosho). Then swing back to Hornet Games for photos with Santa and the Grinch, a perfect way to wrap up a joyful holiday evening.
